INform INspire INvent INvolve INclude

INsight School to Work is a grant-funded program focused on school-to-work career development for high school students. This program creates pathways into Behavioral Health starting with sophomore students and continuing through joining the workforce or pursuing higher education.

The ultimate goal of this program is to grow the Behavioral Health workforce to meet the rising demand for services in our communities. 

    1. Reduce broad cultural stigma regarding behavioral health as a whole, and especially working within the field of behavioral health.

    2. Increase development toward careers in behavioral health in high school.

    3. Build complete career pathways to address gaps from high school to paraprofessional jobs to various professional positions.

    4. Provide support that can balance out high cost-to-earn and low entry-level wages within the field.

    2. INspire high school students to explore careers in behavioral health.

    3. INvent a pathway starting right after high school into paraprofessional roles.

    4. INvest in entry level employment opportunities during and after high school.

    5. INcrease affordable access to higher education.

    7. INclude diverse, representative recruits in our workforce.

    8. INcentivize workforce retention through incumbent worker career advancement.
